i am thinking about gettin a alpine 7893 but i was wondering since it isnt a MP3 cd player, can it still show the name of the song when it comes on, and also what r some other MP3 CD player models that r similar to the 7893??

I don't recommend this unit ... it has issues ... My GF owns one ....

Do explain?

I had a 7893...now have the 7894 which is basically the same unit with different colors and MP3 capability, and I have never had a problem with either one. Who knows...but I'm curious as to what problems you're having.

Hmm...never had that problem, but yeah, I could see how it would be very frustrating.
