Thinking about downgrading to 200 watts for now...

I had 2 RE 10's on 400 watts until one of them went out recently. But I don't feel like spending much money right now so I might just downgrade to a 200 watt amp and only run the one that works.

What's a good amp that gives me about 200 watts at 2 ohms?

I looked for over 5 minutes and couldnt find any mono amps that would do 200rms @ 2 ohms.

Im sure you could find a Boss or something that would, but I just couldnt find any nce amps that would! lol

I dont even know if they make such a small mono amp.

What amp do you have?

Cant you just keep the amp you have? Wire the sub to 8ohms if you concerned about overpowering it?

Well I had it wired to 8 ohms for just the one sub but when I turned it up to the volume I normally used it sounded like it was straining a little...

I found a PG OCTANE-R 2.0:1 that does the perfect amount, but I've heard people say this is the worst line from PG. Truth?
