Thinking about another battery, but no experience here.

Alright So I've learned a lot in the compiling of my system, but I'm not sure what to look for in a second battery, or If I should just put a better one under the hood , but with that It has some poor placement under my windshield washer tank. Anyways starting soon I'm going to be running around 1120 watts. Right now I'm running a little under 1000 and Haven't run into any big problems only when its cranked up at night with my head lights on. So aside from dimming I also would like to listen to my music with the car off, also for tuning purposes to so I don't need to turn the car on. My budget is around $100 I can spare more, but I'm starting to get talks about how much money I put in my car. I Haven't done the big 3 and the only wire I have right now is 5guage sosche, and my battery Is stock. Would this suit my needs or only cure my dimming.

Try the big 3 upgrade, You should be good. If not upgrade to a better battery. Also what year and model is the car?

not sure if you got my PM but your bat sounds like a pretty good deal ...is it as easy as running to from the starter battery to back battery to my set up

I know I need to do the big 3 and that will help or even stop the dimming but I hate having to pause my stereo when my cars off everytime I forget to close my windows lol.

my hc600 blew up . i havent bough kinetik since, only kinetik worth looking into are the hc1800 an up!

what did you have it hooked too? and i would take my 1400 over alot of batteries i have owned and just got done trying out (they didnt survive a tuning session without the help of a charger //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif) .... only time i have seen a 600 or a 800 swell up was either too close to something hot or they were being used to help drive 2000++ watts off about a 100 amp or under stock alt..and that goes against what kinetik and what any trained kinetik dealer recommends. also a distributor i deal with only had 7 failures over their last year and i would bet they sell thousands of them a year.

I would definitely add another battery and do the big 3 upgrade, your voltage will hold higher during bass hits, and it will be noticably louder. Sent you a PM.
