about 115 to be exactly--she never quits *****ing. just kidding thinkin of trying to lose about 40 pounds or so. going to attempt this by working out 5 days a week 1-2 every morning before work. they say one of the best ways to burn fat is to put on 15-20 pounds of muscle then switch to a more aerobic style workout and lessen carbs/calorie intake. anyone got any suggestions?

eliptical trainer. In a couple months, i've lost 10lbs and 1 inch of the waist, plus i'm sure added a lot of muscle to my legs. I did the running thing, but i hated it. It was so boring and always seemed like my heart rate was getting too high. With the eliptical i burn roughly the same amount of calories each time. I set the course to the weight loss course (28 mins with rotation between 4mins hard work/4mins rest) I even stopped working out for like 11/2 weeks because i got sick. Now i'm back at it. Oh and i never really lift because i don't want to add upper body strength right now...later though, i'll start.

eat less and get on an elliptical or a bike at the gym. i lost 20 lbs without even tring at the gym lol. just ride the bike at a high level for as long as you can. i did it for 20 minutes 5 days a week, i could of went for lots longer but i didnt feel like it. either way it worked for me. but like i said i was hardly trying imagine if i actually did. if you really DID try and work yourself and set the level on the bike high you WILL lose weight.

at one point i was 15 years old, 204 pounds, and 5 foot 9 inches. In 2 months i lost 41 pounds.......diet and exercise, simple as that. I ate 14 oz of protein a day, vegetables, no carbs, no sugar of any kinds. I worked out twice a day.....weight training in the morning, cardio at night. The pounds shed off like no other.....My mom is like a Dietary counselor ish thing.....i have **** on my computer about proper diet and stuff if you want it.

sure--send it to me. i'm not obese or anything. i just got about 30 excess pounds around my midsection--at my peak physical condition i was at 215(when i was in the army) and probably close to 6-7 percent body fat and pretty muscular. now i'm at 240--still got the muscles just a bit extra. of course now i'm full time at work and full time dad and don't get to exercise as much as i used to altho i'm thinking of getting a ex-bike for the house.

I find this hard to believe...14 oz of protein a day? You do realize thats around 400 grams of protein. In a high-protein drink, theres 50 grams of protein, which is about two big glasses of milkshake. To get 400 grams of protein, you would have to drink 16 18oz glasses of protein drink a day. That is ALOT! But on topic, the best way to lose weight is to run, or do ellipticals like other people said. I find running to be the most efficient. More muscle mass improves your metabolism which further causes you to lose weight faster. The cereal Total is great for losing weight, i used to eat a bowl of that in the morning, for lunch -> a salad and some saltines, for dinner a steak. and in between all of those a serving of NLarge2. After school, i had track, which was about 45 minutes of sprints and running. I knocked 10 lbs off in two months, which isnt too shabby, considering i am mostly skin and bones.

Most people wind up eating MORE on a diet. Small meals, generally 6 times a day.

heres what i did and i shed about 20 pounds no lieing, i was out at eku drinking and i noticed my ****** ratio went way down since i gained weight...ok..make a salad your main meal, out of all meals breakfast is ok, just dont eat to much fatty foods, cut out cokes...period, none at all...work out when ever you can, when you can walk, walk...dont drink...unless its heaven hill vodka...thne your gonna throw it up later in the night //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif, any ways...yeah i lost about 20 pounds but yeah like if you want something to eat make it a small side portion, and make a salad your main meal...its very healthy not hard to do this diet and it worked for me!

let me know if ya got any questions
