3 JL 10W6s (old school) in a standard cab '95 Ranger? I've been wanting to do it for a while now but have just been lazy..what do you think/know would have to be done to get it in there? also, if you have time/want to/whatever, draw up some designs (within reason of course) for a box/amp rack and post 'em up! thanks a bunch

You willing to cut sheet metal? How much space is there behind the seat when you have it in a comfortable position for you to drive?

I had 6 of the same subs in a reg cab '85 Ranger. Of course that required a partial cut through and cost me about 18" in the front of the bed. Subs were in a "U" shape with the 3 amps in the center of the "U".

Anyway, things to consider:

You need enough room between the front of the subs and the back of the seats that the cones don't hit the seats. You also need enough room between the backs of the subs and the back wall of the box for the pole vent to breathe.

Obviously the subs will pretty well have to go straight across the bottom of the space behind the seats facing forward. The amp rack would most likely have to go on top of the sub box with the amps mounted parallel to the back wall of the cab. Not having an dimensions to work with I can't help much more.

if I've measured right, I can line all 3 up straight across the back of the cab and stand the amp (I have a single 1200 watt amp) up at the end of the box (amp measures about 12 inches wide, 23 inches long, and 2 inches deep)

also, I'm comfortable with driving almost on top of the steering wheel basically..as long as I can lay back some, I'm good..hehe

width of the inside of the cab area that I will be using is 53". the top of the box is (if I've measured right) able to be about 4-5 inches, and the bottom can come out about 8-9-10 inches or so. height for the back is 12".
