Was thinking the same thing. Why dump a shit ton of money into a turbo and that eng and then weigh it down with a huge box and either BTL's or MT's??//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blackeye.gif.66a1670f5aaf7f406e783a63e3387dc5.gifid not put a heavy system in that car imo. maby a nice 10" glassed in.
Then do an spl car and not worry about the turbo.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blackeye.gif.66a1670f5aaf7f406e783a63e3387dc5.gifNot me 2 x 15" Mt's or Btl's
I have a 1971 dodge demon for when I get the itch to go racing.

Yeah after reading his last post, your right. Logic out da window!
Dont road race or drive like a idiot so it will be perfect for what I am looking for.it's going to be nice for going in a straight line
If you say so bud. Just do it, I know I would never do it.................again I had over 300 pounds of stereo equipment in my Protege5 and it slowed it down pretty good. I was running low 15's in the quarter and when I put in the system I ran it again for shits and giggles and ran high 15's almost 16 secs. Lost almost 1 sec on it. So that was more than a few 10ths of a second. Just food for thought.Explain please.
What is so wrong with it? I just dont understand the problem.
The car is only going to be 0.4 seconds slower in the 1/4 with all the stereo in there.
It still will be fast as hell for a daily driver.
Umm... he did say daily driver didnt he?If you say so bud. Ok I am lieing to you.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gifCorrect I dont really care if it runs 1/2 a second slower in the 1/4 mile cause it is not my drag car. I have a car that runs mid 10's already.
Also as said above the 300 pounds i will loose almost 1 second it the 1/4 then can you explain to me this.
1988 mustang coupe vs 1988 mustang hatch
the hatch is a few hundred pounds heaver then the coupe but is there time difference in the 1/4 almost a second NO.

I used to race every weekend as well. I had a cavalier on NOS that did low 13's and my dads 77 Cutlass ran low 10's on slicks with a 351 Cleveland in it. I have been racing most of my life and know that 300 pounds will slow your car down almost a second. I know my proof, so................... Also dont care if it is your daily driver, sounds like money being wasted, but is your money, so go for it.
