Last time I checked anycar can go and pay 10 bucks to race down the track just for something to do. I have had many cars that do good numbers. My dads car was in the low 10's on slicks and I have ran that many times. So what is your point just becuase I wanted to see what my car would do? You must be one of those rednecks that sits in back of the trucks looking at guys ***** well we the people with money can do what we will.

one, i'm not a redneck, i lived in the city and now the suburbs and i probly have all of 2 friends witha truck. two, your dads car actually belongs there because thats actually quick. third, yes i'm aware that any car Can go there, pay the money and run... and this is what often causes pointless races, for example, idra battle of the imports last fall a couple scions running 17's, waste of time. another example, a 15sec on a good day car with an intake and exhaust which equated to all of about 10hp running 15's, waste of time. your dads car running 10's that actually moves out, took actual work, takes an actual driver... not a waste of time. your track is probably worse if its only 10 bucks, at least here it costs more so it starts to limit the competitor to those who actually race their vehicles.

A lot of it comes down to something you dont seem to be able to grasp. Making friends and having a good time. So what if they are in the 16's, 17's. Its about having fun and just taking some time out of your work week and doing what you want to do. Maybe its 10 bucks because the people that own it like people to have a good time at there track. They also have serious nights where the big boys come out and they charge a good amount to get in. So...............yeah!

oookey dokey well if you're having fun with it then i guess i'll leave you alone about it, i had a car that was a 15 second car (err 14.9 according to motor trend, yay) and i didnt think it was at all fun to race it but i guess thats me. our local track on test n tune days is 15 admission and 25 for a run card, and the track doesnt really cater to the little guys. i dunno, i guess i feel like i need to be at the track only if i actually am testing and tuning with the equipment i have.

I posted that I have been racing most of my life, rather it was taking my dads cars down the track or helping tunning, testing his cars to my cars. Fastest car had was my cavalier with NOS in it doing low 13's. That was fun to me. Always loved taking out older suped up cars with that. Anyway, its just about the fun. My dad is more the serious one and when I race his car I get very serious.
