i had 35% before this 20% and it looked like not even tinted....

a razor blade and windex will take tint right off.. its really easy.. try to pull the tint in one piece to make it easier

ya im going to attempt to do it probably Sunday. would it help at all if i heat it up with hair dryer before i pull it off? so basically just pull lil corner off spray some stuff on it. pull some more and if it does not come off with pulling use a razor blade to help.

ok, since no one here knows what they are talking about when it comes to removing tint, ill let you have my secret.

first , here's what you'll need 1 black 30 gal trash bag or bigger. ruffies are the cheapest usually and work really good. 1 bottle of cheap ammonia or windex will work too but it just takes a little longer, razor blade, hot sunny day above 70 degrees. oh and patience!

take trash bag and unfold it, do not open it like you are putting it in a trashcan. find the bottom seam and cut it off about an inch above the seam. then find a single fold on the side and trim it off. now you should have one large piece of flat plastic. fill a spray bottle with about 2 to 3 inches of ammonia, add a healthy squirt of dish soap too if handy then fill the rest with water.

now, roll down window on the door about three inches. spray the tinted sidewith your solution so that it is really wet. take trashbag and lay it on the wet tint so that it overlaps outside and roll window back up so that the bag is now trapped outside just a little. lift up the bag as high as you can and re- spray the whole window on the tinted side so that it is really wet. lay the bag on the window so that it will trap the solution up on the tint and hold it there. tuck the bag up against all the edges and try not to have any air pockets. put the car out in the sun so that the sun is facing that window. let it sit for about ten minutes and then respray like you did before. do not let the solution dry out or it will let the film set back up. two or three times respraying should do it.

after the film has set like this do not remove the bag, but roll the window down just enough to get to the top edge where the film is, pull the bag backjust enough to get to the top edge and pick at the corner with a finger nail or razor blade just to start it. then pull slowly the film with the bag still on it. it should basically just fall right off with all the glue and be perfectly clean for retinting later

Was pulled over 3 times this year and I have 20% all the way around.......with the front maybe 8" down.

They never ticket me, because I always have the baby with me or the baby seat in there or the whole family and they just ask what I am doing and where I am going and they run my DL and it always comes back clean. So I have been lucky, but is amazing how strict they are about tint in certain towns. Those 3 times where all when visiting my parents house.

I don't care if it is raining, snowing, cold......whatever, I always roll my front 2 windows down when going through that town.

Nobody else gives me shit, excpet that town. Pissed me off, but haven't been ticketed for it yet...........knock on wood, lol!

when this stupid woman pulled me over for tint she was angry that i had my windows rolled down in the cold. She said i was "taunting" her by rolling my windows down for the ride home from school. i had to roll my windows UP to be metered for tint. ****ing *****.

I've noticed that once you get pulled over once for tint then its over. you'll just keep getting pulled over

I beg to differ. I have 30% on the windshield and 15% on the rear. I've been pulled over once and it was because it was overcast out and he couldn't see through my windshield at all going in the opposite direction. My sunroof was even open lol. He just gave me a warning, and that's the only trouble I've had with tint in 4 years
