There's nothing wrong with the cones, you have a cosmetic defect and we are taking care of it. Keyword being, Cosmetic. Not structural.
Those same cones hold up to 179++dB, you are NOT going to break them. If you don't fold a 9515 or an Audioque cone you are not going to fold one of these. There's nothing structurally wrong with them at all. I think we know just a little bit more about woofer design than yourself in regards to your comments about how the cones are "pressed" improperly that you've made, contrary to what you may want to believe, you might want to look around, a number of the loudest cars in the world are running those same cones and same woofers with no issues and no complaints //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.
There is nothing wrong with the magnets either, ferrite is known to chip that is just how it is, there is no loss of motor strength nor are there any defects as far as that goes. Thus is why most manufactures use magnet boots, if you want we can do magnet boots for them and up the price another 30 bucks for something that yields no performance increase....
If you want a showpiece you are looking at the wrong company we are a DIY direct entity, yes we pride ourself in quality and customer service. We give you what is needed to function the way it is intended and nothing more to raise cost on your end. We give the performance with out the dollar signs that come from the glitz and glamor behind woofers such as the W7, and the critical mass driver. However if your looking for something that is mind boggling aesthetically you should look elsewhere...and expect to pay upwards of 2500 dollars a woofer if not more, and see which one falls apart first.
I've yet to run into another woofer that can do what we did to it at the 12 challenge. 5kw per coil or 10kw per total isnt bad 15hz under tuning? Literally slamming the cone into the spider flange on the basket. 50 amps of current and 100 volts per coil!

Cone only breaks when you slam it into the basket //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif...your not going to have any problems, but your complaints will be taken care of.
