Is it a pita to re-hole a carpeted box. I have a sealed box thats a little over 2 cu/ft with two 10" holes. I was thinking of putting some type-r 12's in it. Is it too much hassle once the box is carpeted? Used fi Q12's any better? How about some used re mx 12's they like 1 cube too right, just have to save a little longer lol?

Should I try to use my old as dirt and not recently tested Orion 250 HCCA on new (to me) subs?

i'm doing that to an old box of mine right now for a ghetto HT sub. last night i tried cutting the hole... still isn't big enough... round two will happen when i get a new jigsaw blade.
