thermal protection mode?

I have infinity perfect fronts and alpines in rear. 4 ch rockford p450.4 65 rms 4 ch.... when I hook up 2 speakers it wont clip..when all 4 are hooked up it goes in. Thermal protection mode at high volumes. Is it the amp?

how are you connecting them? One speaker per channel? Lot of Infinity's are 2ohm, so if running bridged impedence is probably too low...

Im preety sure they're 4 ohms..infinity perfect 6.5 components. 1Speaker per channel. Not bridged. I have the alpines in the rear disconnected and they just clipped again with the head unit maxed.....tge gain Is less then half. Alpines dont clip at all
