I play 9 holes at least once a week. I go as often as I can. Golf is a great stress reliever for me.

I guess it depends on how you play.

Golf can tire you out, especially if you carry your clubs.

Either way, it does take some physical ability to play golf well.

I guess it's all just opinions anyways. One has to admit that golf is probably one of the largest sports out there from a $$$ standpoint. Both in earnings potential for players and sales (golf courses, clubs, clothing, etc.).

Being able to play golf reasonably well can help your career. When my company participates in charity tournaments, I often get invited and get to hang out with guys who have enough power to impact my long term career path. On top of that opportunity to hang out with high level guys, I get to play golf for free on courses that I could never afford, on weekdays, while still getting paid for being at work.
