I'm of two minds on that one, dude.

One side of me says I wouldn't want anyone breaking anything over my crotch as I cannot imagine it would be a particularly enjoyable experience.

The other side of me has to keep in mind just how easy it is to break a 4' flourescent bulb...

and if the dude is upside down.. his junk is going to be hanging out of reach of the bulb.. it would just break on the seam of his jeans..

I worked for a company that retrofitted older flourescent fixtures from 4 bulb/two ballast setups to a single instant-start ballast, two bulbs, and a galvanized reflector. The difference in energy consumption after the retrofit was enormous!

Anyway....we had heaps of the regular 40 watt, 4' bulbs left after doing several buildings and the only thing to do with them was chuck 'em in the dumpster....we had heaps of fun seeing who could get the loudest BANG out of them while throwing them away.

I'm feeling all reminiscent and nostalgic about being younger.. very emo of me i know.. but i miss being 17.. i had so much more fun. Getting old and acting responsible ftmfl.
