When you're a teenager all you want is away from the 'rents and the ability to make your own decisions day to day about whatever.

exactly.. i mean back then i could be evil, stupid, ignorant, mean spirited, foolish and actually have fun while making bad choices.. now i like think about consequences and shit.. it really takes the fun out it. ;(

Assuming the subwoofer is in good mechanical shape (as the pics I have been provided have the sub appearing to be in excellent shape cosmetically) how good of a deal do you guys think is a 12" Comp VR Dual 4 with the Kicker grill for $40 picked up?

I happened across this deal locally and am seriously considering going to have a look/listen tomorrow afternoon. I don't really have much use for it but it's hard to pass up @ $40 I'm thinking...
