Im thinking of getting a cap to run the jbl bp1200.1.....and mount it right next to the amp.....the power wire will be about 1ft. Will that work...

get the amp, if you need an electrical upgrade, then look at them

my stock alt is 75A also, my new one is 200A, nice and big

A 70-80 amp alternator is normal. No more than this is needed to run the factory accessories in a car. These alternators were not made with high power drawing sound systems in mind.
