THE Thread

I think ming will be a force like shaq is, but all in time....as for labron james he gets put into the class with people like shawn kemp and jerry stackhouse....good players with alot of talent, but there are so many guys in the game today that are 6'9 and got skills....labron will just have to practice alot harder once drafted...as for match ups to see check this one out....

Shawn Bradly of the Mavs...VS Yao Ming of the rockets....

Originally posted by snova031 Wow, I take it you've never seen Hughes play some schoolyard ball, eh? He's the man with a million crossovers. like I said, in a one on one game, Hughes will spin A.I.'s head around. On a court with 4 teammates, it's another story...
Iverson breaks people off in NBA games, sometimes driving passed the whole entire defending team. So going passed one guy, would be pretty easy for him.

Originally posted by snova031 I remember watching videos when Hughes was in college, playing in street games and during practices, he has by far the best crossover I've ever seen, and so many different variations and ways to do it, it was amazing.

Some of those guys on the And 1 mixtapes are absolutely ridiculous, I'm sure there are a few that can take on any NBA player and just school them.

I really like Jamison, he puts up great numbers, 23 ppg, 7 rpg, only ~2 apg though...but he's an 80% ft shooter, 45% fg shooter and has good outside touch...
Jamison is okay, but he needs to improve his ball handling skills. I think Arenas is much more important to the warriors than Jamison. Arenas is a great point guard, he can drive to the hoop hit big shots and get other guys involved.

I would like to say Foyle is the bomb. He gets so many blocks. I think he is the best shot blocker in the league for his size. He is a good defender. He also continues to improve on the offensive end. People get mad at him on the other team and try to dunk on him and he just makes them look silly by blocking them.

jeez josh.. you do know you can mke one post for all those poitns, right?

i was jsut getting at teh fact that he has his facts wrong... Nash is not European, and neither is Sczerbiak... im just wondering where the heck he got his information? or if he just picekd names taht sounded european and guessed...
