My 105a dimmed with only 600 watts on it. The newer trucks are amperage hogs.

So it seems. Thankfully the older ones arent to bad.Even when i had the 4000D on my old burb with the 105A i wouldnt get serious voltage drops

Don't the Silverado's have space for two batteries under the hood?

I'd either do a single D31 optima up front, or two regular Yellow Tops, or a sinlge Kinetik HC1800 or HC2000

I know the old ones have dual batt trays.

I can actually fit 3 batetries under my hood, just need to relocate the radiator overflow.
