i did grow up on the east coast and i think you cant really compare thet two because they had two severely different styles of rap..while biggie was a lyricist tupac was a poet and i therefore love both of them. My two favorite songs on earth from each of them

thanks for the input on this you maybe the one who disproves my theory completely which is cool i just think its kind of funny how generally east coast people favor big where as west favor tupac
