The Saturn : )

I like those terminals you got on your box..
Why, thank yee //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Im pretty speechless at this build, it looks like alot of work has and is going into it. Cant wait for it to be complete, and I might be PM you soon about those bus bars //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Yea, I've put a ton of work into the Saturn, thanks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

**** it makes the 1/0 look tiny.
Haha, yea...I think 4/0 would be more suited for the power+ground runs

x2
where did you get them?
Ye old partsexpress //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Its so nice to see someone with a car thats not riced out. Most theives would walk right past that.
Yep //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Looks completely stock //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

And that's what most people think...my favorite quote to this day dealing with my car= "It's just a Saturn, wont be that loud" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Howmuch did u spend on wire/terminals/fuses etc? lol
Well lets see..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif (Here's a list I came up with as far as accessories go)

All accessories are Stinger Gold and include: (12) 0-gauge ANL fuse holders, (2) 300 amp ANL fuses for daily for SoundStream, (2) 300 amp ANL fuses one for each alternator, (4) 300 amp fuses under the hood inline with the 4 runs to the rear batteries, (4) 300 amp fuses in the trunk before the runs reach the D3100's, (1) fused distribution block being one 0-gauge run into two 4-gauge runs each with its own 60 amp fuse for each of the 4-channel amplifiers, (1) distribution block being one 0-gauge run into two 0-gauge runs for the combining of runs near the XXX10000, 12 Stinger Shoc-krome battery terminals used on the front busbars, multiple dozens of 0-gauge ring terminals were used throughout, 8-gauge ring terminals for connection through the enclosure from amplifier to subwoofer, and a Stinger voltage meter above the headunit as well

Also, roughly 110 feet of 1/0 was used for the runs front to back...along with plenty more under the hood and a bit in the back for the amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

But a bit of it involving the 4-channel stuff isnt concrete...may change my mind with the mids/highs stuff

And adding up the cost of the accessories is kind of depressing...but it was plenty //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

just like the commercials. thats a saturn?lol.

Thanks mayn //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Will do

Thanks fbi //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

And yea, Ive gotta make sure not to do that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif lawl

Well honestly if I really wanted to I could have it completely done in a day or two...but Im not even going to try to make a date for when I think it'll be done...because I need to buy a couple small things to finish it up (some all-thread, more mounting clips for the wire to tidey it up a bit, truck bedliner to coat the runs especially in the wheel wells for protection, and just stuff like that) and I only have like 13 bucks in my pocket and dont have tons of money at hand //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif..so it'll wait untill next paycheck or so...but alot of that stuff isnt entirely needed for some time, so I could have it d@mn close to done and just see what she can do for the time being //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I honestly am very scared having the soundstream at full-bore on it while just driving, it gets very violent and the 18 gets stinky pretty quick...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

But I keep it at a normal level most the time, unless the good-ol escalade pulls up on rims next to me trying to bump //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif...I just smile and see what the satty can do (they just stare, its priceless)

But yea, for burps it'd be fine but I cant have it up for too long before I get pretty nervous
