The Saturn: Can't stop there. (Dual 18's upgrade)

Thanks. Im looking for 150+ but we'll see, it may take a little while for it to be completely sealed from the trunk then we can see what it can really do...then doubling the power (actually more than double probably, going to be wiring lower) should be a good boost //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

For this first run I dont really kno what to expect.

Good stuff. Either way should be nasty. I been very tempted to cut down my ports a few inches and bump the tuning up to 34ish. Not really sure on how drastic my gains would be on the TL.
Same on my old box/setup...I had an interchangeable port setup ready to go but never made another port for it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif..probably couldve been a good bit louder, I feel kind of dumb for not trying it out even once //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

well ill tell you man.. this is really gonna pound ! haha... hopefully i can get everything done here within the next 2-3 weeks so i can start competing again... Btw, you have any ideas on the size box i should build for those pr's?? usually 15's get around 4 cu ft per sub but the guy im buying from says around 10 cubes tuned to 38 hertz would do the trick for a ground pounder.. :/ seems too small for 4 15's

Thanks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif And yea, if you PM me your max dimensions to fit the enclosure into I'll give you a hand with the enclosure...and yea, 10 cubes sounds too small unless you were putting tons of power to them.

Looks good, now get back to work
Thanks, and im working quite a bit on this //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

did you ever pick up another 10k? this install is sick no matter if its one or two 10ks. wish i had half the skill you do with sketch ups
Thanks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

And another XXX10k may be down the road a bit (like a month and a half or more) so I can recover some funds after this build //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif...then more batteries etc etc.

Overview

As you can see, though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif, there is a slight flaw that will have to be worked out...

In making the two sections (port and main chamber) meet in the middle...they werent exactly the same and were slightly different angles. So you can see in that last pic the piece running across is about 3/4" higher on the driver's side...that will need to be cut and sanded down to make flush, not a huge issue but I wasn't the happiest about it when I saw it coming together.

Tomorrow should have some fiberglass and body filler action...more then
