Hi guys, I am currently in the process of looking for another head unit. I currently have the Kenwood X series head units and now i am looking for something that i can use with my IPOD and surprisingly enough, I came across this head unit called the ripper 100. You can connect your IPOD directly to it and it has USB ports built in to it making it possible for me to connect an external hard drive to it. When i saw it I said i have got to get myself one of these. Here is a pic:

has anybody heard of this or seen it cos i reallyy wanna get 1? I wanna know how much it costs.

JVC makes units with a USB connection right on front. Its kool if you have an external hard drive full of mp3s //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

It's made by a company called adassa audio. I have not heard of them but have seen some of their products on other forums and they look pretty neat. They also make subwoofes and Amps. They have a 4000W speaker tha's dual 2 and and also comes in quad. But that head unit is MINE!!! I just gotta find some prices for it. I think it also has a memory card reader slot.

I went to one of Team South east's shows here in England and won a trophy in the street bass comp. i got a trophy and a t-shirt. I saw the splbassx thread and wanted to know if it is known by anybody else in the US. I am an IT freak and i thought it useful to have a head unit that i can connect direcly to a 250 gig external hard drive and my IPOD. I wanna know more about it before i buy it.

umm not really know by us americans....not sure even if they have a distributor now in the US...

So how are you affiliated with them? Are you andrew?
I noticed the team south east link at the bottom. Are these even in production yet?
I'm not andrew no. I have met him though at one of his shows and he seems like a nice guy. I was asking him about this adassa audio stuff and it looks and sounds quite good. I wanna enter some serious SPL next year and i'm looking to put something different in my car. I currently have 2 MSX 12 inch 400w subs, and i want more power and to take some titles over here in england. i dont wanna go for the usual makes so i thought it might be interesting to try this adassa stuff. I hope its as good as they say it is.

Ya this would be cool if they were priced right and had decent sound quality. Their website doesnt really say much about its specs so Its kinda hard to tell what the player is really capable of and the picture looks fake which makes me think they are another type of player just sugar coated. I emailed them so hopefully they will get back to me. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif Cause I would be interested if they were legit.

I know its def legit. He had it at one of his shows in his car and i had a look at it. I was very sceptical at first because i had never heard of the name. Which is why I am trying to research to see if anyone else has heard of it.
