The right CA glue?

I've searched and really haven't found an answer. I bought some CA super glue the other day at a local hobby shop. It's the mediam blend, but the only thing that concerns me is it's clear like normal super glue and everyone I've seen recone a sub used some black thick glue. Is this still the same CA glue as the black CA glue I see other people using?

you can get ca glue from nick when you get the rebuild kit. or bob smiths adhesives have a web site that you can order it from.
