true...and my argument isnt the end all either. you cant really just use some specs to see what a new car will do. im really just trying to find cars that can be somewhat comparable in power/weight ratios, so that i can at least guess that it wont do 0-100mph is 3.5 sec

I dont think you have to even worry about that, im quite certain its a typo. Even with slicks, that car isnt doin 100mph in 3.5. Just doesnt have the power. You'd need traction and well in excess of 750whp to pull that off. Thats still not taking into consideration the weight, gear ratios, shifts, etc.

Another car thats quick but not too well known is the Mosler.

Basically a Mid-engine corvette, but not something you'd want to drive on the street for too long. Even with a curb weight of under 2200lbs (thats no typo) its still wont pull 100mph that quick, lol.

That last model was with the 405hp motor (2002 z06 motor) and it pulls 60 in 3.5. A 600hp engine would go a loooooooong way in that thing. The only reason a street version even exists is so the car can run Lemans.

I would vouge to say that is probably the best bang for the buck car out on the road at that point.....as if the current z06 isnt anyways...hahah

Into supercar territory, yes.

I could only imagine what a gearhead would do to a Mosler. The current version is only a supercharged 350 running 6psi. Yeah, its 600hp, but its a mild setup. Someone can easily build that motor up, or just stuff in a 427 and build that up.

You're talking less then $15K in mods to boost that car upto another level.
