I met dimebag once. He was really drunk and I couldn't understand a thing he was saying, but he was pretty tight.

I like pantera, but they have really bad recordings. I guess Im just not a fan of dime's tone.

I think the best metal band of all time is Death, especially Symbolic, probally their best cd.

Morbid angel also kicks some ***.

BTW metal maxima, flo is a lame drummer IMO. fast, but his stuff gets really boring. derek roddy is by far the sickest DM drummer.

Derek Roddy was never featured on ESPN for his physcial abilities.

Derek Roddy was never asked to play at the Guggenheim.

Derek Roddy never held his own drumming instructional sessions.

I'm not saying that Derek Roddy isn't amazing, but his work with Hate Eternal is about as lame as DM drumming gets, and his old work with Nile can't hold a candle to Cryptopsy's music at the time.

George Kollias abilities FAR surpass Roddy's ability with Nile.

I'm not saying the guy isnt' amazing, because he truly is, but your comment reeks of ignorance.

haha at Lollipop Lust Kill...I remember when they used to play in my town in front of about 30 people...Evvy Pedder is a creepy bastard, D. Human was always very drunk.

I loved My So Called Knife, but the version of Dr. Killgreedy on the demo(motel murder madness) was much better...die mother****er die!!

It doesn't matter if roddy isnt as popular as flo and btw he has clinics all the time (not like it matters). flo is sloppy compared to him, and his solos are really weak. In terms of band work, yeah flo has a better band. That does not make him a more skilled drummer. Derek is an incredible studio drummer from what I've heard. I need to find the video of him on "behold", rediculous speed.

And kolias is fast as hell. Doesn't he have the fastest recorded double bass? I need to pick up the new CD.

I have listen to them enough I agree they ****ing rule but not as much as early metallica, randy rhoads ozzy or of course pantera. To each his own though man death is badass.

Iced Earth has some crazy song writing, every one of their Albums is just one long story and some badass album cover about it like a ******* book ha. Also check out Acid Bath's lyrics they are so insane and genius. Not to mention they are a kick ****ing *** band.
