well, if everything goes as planned, i will be off to mobile dynamics in tempe, arizona in either january or the end of february. i still have to enroll, but i am checking to see if it is going to work out with my schedule. the program is 8 weeks and will get you MECP certified. hopefully everything works out. i think it is an opertunity i cant pass up.

Yea I plan on going, but not till the summer or next winter after I finish hooking my ride up with goodies. And when I get the money cuz im flat broke haha. Woot time for a loan.

if you enroll for any session before january 31, 2006, you get the regular price. if you enroll after that you pay the 5% increase in price as well.

I went for a walk around thru their Toronto campus.. spoke with people at the school...

I decided that for the 2 months im going to be there and the $10,000 the program + extras was going to cost..

I wasn't going to learn enuff to make it worth it..

Also spoke with a few students and they seemed to have a bad cocky car audio attitude.. not my cup of tea...

10,000 to work at a best buy install bay.. WOoo.. no.

i'm not leaning towards the best buy installer gig, i am more into going into a partnership with a guy in my area, still have to negotiate that one, or i am thinking about opening my own shop in a few years. i still want to work under someone at a local high/er end shop to get an idea of how the business goes.

was an pretty cool experence. did the whole course. i wish they taught REAL tips and tricks for installs instead of just load you up on book knowldegd and had a way better teaching on Alarms, but it was a good start to custom work, how things work, and HT. . was well worth it.

and and if when you go, if Alex ( the girl at teh front desk) still works there. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/drool.gif.b5e863e893038027711d4402f340dad0.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Looks like a great school just wish the course was laid out longer..

u study topics for only 1 day at a time then move onto something else..

I really liked the idea of being able to work on your own car for assignments tho...

Hmm....$10 000 for MECP Basic Installer?

Why not spend $40 on the MECP Basic Installer test, get a job at a good audio store and learn from the MECP First Class/Master installers there while getting paid? I could buy a lot of anal lube for $10K
