Sold the "help me deal with the scam from marshallb" sale - $60 speakers

I have a set of alpine srs-69lp speakers that I am now forced to sell. marshallb sold these to me on this forum, but he told me they were srs-69c and I got scammed so I am now forced to try to sell them to get my money back. Paypal will not give me a dime because they are useless and do nothing to protect their users:

Our investigation into your claim is complete. As stated in our UserAgreement, the claims process only applies to the shipment of goods. It does not apply to complaints about the attributes or quality of goods received. Therefore, we are unable to reverse this transaction or issue arefund.

So marshallb got my $60 and he is a happy little scammer, but I still need to get the correct speakers. These things appear to be in decent shape and I tested them with my dmm and they show to not be blown. I am asking for no more than marshallb ripped me off for - $60 plus the cost of shipping. Please pm me if you are interested. Shipping costs will vary from $5-12 depending on your location.

The speakers are rated at half the rms handling power. These were advertised:

Well then dont you think you need a pic of the right speaker sense you are trying to sell them? And IDK why people get so pissed off at PP, you already know if you get ANYTHING in the mail they wont do nothing about it.

This is the first time I have had to go through this with Paypal outside of ebay. I have had people scam me on ebay before but this is the first time it has happened via a message board. I assume it is because they have more of a "paper trail" as they own ebay as well.

Those are the correct speakers in the picture and If you like I can take one of the rear showing the model number as well. Buyer beware - marshallb got me when I read his description and offered to buy them based on that. I should have done a little more research and found pictures online of each individual speaker model but I did not. I can accept that I made the mistake in that respect, but these are speakers I have never owned. I am not as familiar with them as other lines so I cannot identify them by sight alone.

no, i have not tried them out. they are not what i wanted, or paid for, and the reviews i have read are not good. it is 15 degrees outside, so no i have not installed them.

A tip in the future when buying through Paypal. ALWAYS!!!! use a credit card. Paypals protection is a complete joke and waste of time. Your CC company can and will get your money back from paypal. And there is nothing paypal can do about it. The seller even has to agree that charge backs from credit card companies will be honored because paypals hands are tied once the CC company gets involved.

Paypal tries to be sneakt when you buy, you have to click the more funding options when you purchase something and select a CC.

paypal doesnt cover really any scams or shit that have been done on forums. They pretty good about protecting on ebay transactions but forums no no no
