Did it ever occur to you that they may not have released specs because they had ::::GASP:::: prototypes out??? They have changed the design at least once, probably several times- why release specs when they may change in a week?

I sure wish there was somebody around who had one of the protos in there truck...They might have the longest throw of any woofer ever made...and might sound better than anything...and get louder...but how can we know if we haven't heard them...or know anybody thats had any experience with them.

Protos are supposed to be sent out to at least a few people who know what they are doing, and can give accurate feedback to the company, and the market... I've not heard of anyone who has experience with these.

I want to know how they will last, and stand up to abuse.........

Paper cones are fine. Treated pulp paper cones actually give a better strength to weight ratio than the prized plastic, aluminum and even titanium cones popular today.

My personal favorite cone materials is pulp and poly but there are some nice mix types out there like carbon fiber and paper.
