I have been researching trying to figure out what subs I want to run. I cant narrow it down. I was hoping someone here might be able to send me in the right direction. I will tell you what my setup is.
2002 Acura RSX-S
Alpine 9885 headunit
Alpine 6.5 Type R components up front
Alpine 6.5 Coaxials in the rear
Front stage is powered by a Kicker ZX650.4 (120 rms x 4)
For my subs I have a Kicker SX900.2 (850 rms x 1 at 4 ohms)
I can either run 1 sub at 850 rms with up to 2.3 cubic feet or I can run 2 subs at 425 rms a piece with 1.15 cubic feet per sub.
I am looking for the hardest hitting SQ subs. For a pair of 12's I have looked at IDQv3's, JL w3's and w6's, Boston G5's, Polk SR's
For a single sub setup I looked at JL W7, Boston SPG555 although I'm not sure it would be enough power for either of those
Any input would be appreciated! Pro's/con's of each would be awesome too. Thanks for your time!
