in ways i agree with that in other ways i think when ALL is said and done MLB will have to wear the crown on the 90's era. no matter how you cut it hey either allowed it or simply turned their backs too it.At least one of the milestone people this week has class.
looks like soriano is gonna be out 2-4 weeks, our bullpen does ****, but hopefully they can work out the kinks and work through it....i will admit that in the past the cubs have been shittty, BUT this year we are doin great, our star pitcher just got named July pitcher of the month, has the most wins in the NL, our outfielder was named NL player of the month. yall can hate on the cubs all you want but this year you have to give them their props for what they are doin this
also you cant say that yall would of won bc Lilly an our defense owned yall, an hopefully Marquis will have his shit together tomorrow an glavin will have to wait another week to get his 300th win //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif
Mike Illitch has made it known he will spend money //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif Hence why the Tigers signed Magglio, Pudge, Guillen, Sheffield. Also the Tigers, going by talent, should've never been able to draft Verlander, Maybin, Miller, or Porcello because each commanded a lot of money but Illitch was willing to pay for each of them. The Tigers have went out and spent a lot on the draft instead of signing veteran free agents. The Tigers are also 4th in the league in attendance, behind New York, Los Angeles, and Boston so they are creating revenue to sign players.Yeah but I fear that the Tigers payroll is going to catch up to them. They aren't as spend happy as the Cubs have been.
Verlander needs to take a few mph off of his fastball too, his arm won't hold up long the way he tosses the ball.
