Well the season is almost over so he better fall apart quick then.
Of course a New Yorker would call Sheffield a cancer, but I do recall Sheffield, Leyland, and Dombrowski winning a championship together.
Pudge's game calling is really average. His best attributes throughout his career has been his quick feet.
I cannot believe you can think any rotation would be better then Verlander, Bonderman, Miller, Jurrjens, and Porcello.
This season maybe a lost season for the Tigers, hopefully they'll regroup in the offseason and come back strong. I hope Marcus Thames gets the starting 1B job, or if they can somehow manage to sign A-rod and move Guillen to first.

Even though Granderson strikes out a lot, I still like having that power in the leadoff spot. Dombrowski and Leyland both knew Sheffield and knew exactly what they were getting. If they felt he would be a "cancer" they wouldn't have traded for him.I am a yankee fan for life. But i have to agree with you about that last portion of your statement. There has been tremendous growth in the tiger clubhouse since leyland has come to the ball club. Granderson is one that sure sticks out to me, he has developed into an amazing CF, and an excellent leadoff man. Its gonna come down to the wire this season, for a number of teams.
Meh, i hate the mets, but I respect them. alot. They have the best base stealer in the bigs, and arguably one of the best centerfielders in the game. I have reyes on my fantasy team//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/word.gif.64b12e39f936af3b4fff38a1c0bd0244.gif

BTW the Tigers ***** the Yankees in that trade anyways. 2 mid level pitchers who project to nothing more then middle relief guys, and a talented pitcher in Humberto Sanchez, who has good stuff, but is overweight, lacks work ethic, and has injury history at a young age.
Sheffield had 2 good seasons in New York. He's injured now and won't be playing against New York.We all know that anyone who leaves the Yankees blossoms as soon as they get out of New York.
Hell, look at Soriano (on the DL) but he was in a slump 80% of the time when he was in new york.. he leaves, and now hes a superstar.
But yes, i agree that it was OUR mistake getting rid of shef, and you guys took advantage of that. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/pissed.gif.9f665f96bc89e98e708dabd4580bb591.gif

Comisky is Chicago? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gifI guess we look at the bad more than the good.
I definatley cannot vouche for the booing of arod, and I personally love shef as a player, he did our rightfield same **** good.
I know, id be scared as shit to pitch to that guy, that **** bat would get in my head. heh. He has the quickest hands in the game IMO, and i love watching him play. I saw him hit a huge bomb in mid july against the royals. I love comisky park, it is definatley one of my favorites.
