general managers say that. leyland knows what he is doing. he and dombrowski have worked together before and made big trades. the tigers haven't made the playoffs since 87 and they want to not only make it but win. also if you say something like that and the trade doesn't happen, you are saying your lineup is week

They've been talking about needing a left handed bat for sometime now. I guess that would be saying you're lineup is weak. Again, the trade probably won't happen because the Tigers won't want to give up there prospects.

???? Where did I say that? You were talking about 2 mistakes Bonderman made that led to runs, I gave you two mistakes Vasquez made that led to runs. ????

implying that detroit was just as lucky as chicago. just admit it, detroit outplayed chicago tonight. i give credit to chicago's offense. bonderman was on tonight and he only made a couple mistakes and chicago made him pay.

It doesn't take a genious to figure out that you aren't going to get Soriano for free. You want talent, you have to give some up to get it.

and he's right...1 pitch pretty much lost the game....it was your first grand slam of the season!!! against our worst pitcher who nobody likes!! who should have been pulled once bases were loaded.! (WTF was that call)

and yea you can say Detroit outplayed us.....if you want to call outplaying us...playing better than us PLAYING HORRIBLE!!...we did play a horrible game man. But man....Crede is still amazing...give hiim the Gold Glove

he is a great minor league prospect, plus they can trade zach miner. hence why i said package. meaning more then one player.

Huh? There was 1 out, bases loaded, a ground ball either get the out at home or turn two. Score = 2-1....or you get one out and a run scores. 2-2. Instead with one swing they are down by 3. Reasonable? It happens all the time. How many times with the bases loaded have the Tigers gotten a hit? Probably less than 30%, and HR's on top of that? Well this season it was 0%. So 1 mistake, put the Tigers up by 3, instead of the White Sox getting o ut of the inning with a lead or with a tie.

ok expy. bonderman was on his game. explain no one getting into scoring position? bonderman walked one and was throwing strikes and chicago couldn't hit it. did konerko, thome, dye get a hit off bonderman?

Lol, You are going to give up a starting pitcher, and like Ozzie said, it's probably going to be Zumaya, since I know they won't trade Verlander. Honestly, they'd be stupid to get Soriano and trade away that good talent.
