Had the Tigers not gotten on base, Monroe wouldn't have even gotten up that inning, and even if he did, you pitch a batter differently when bases are loaded and you have nowhere to put the runner.

I can live with going into Detroit and going 2-1. Even 1-2 isn't to bad, as long as we take care of business with Oakland, Minnesota, and Cleveland.

Well Vasquez left a slider hanging to pudge. BTW you were the one that started with the excuses about how bonderman pitched so well and made 2 mistakes, so I pointed out two mistakes Vasquez made. Really, I need no excuses, I just stated what you stated, you point out 2 mistakes, so do I. Either way, Detroit has made 6 big mistakes this season, and Chicago has made 2. Just hope that doesn't carry into the playoffs. I don't care what your record is, if you can't get past Chicago, you can't make it to the World Series. Truth be known, I'd move Kenny Rogers to #3 in the rotation in the playoffs. As of right now that is.
Lol....just like he did in his last outing? If Rogers doesn't bring his A game, he gets hit pretty hard. He doesn't throw hard enough to make the batter foul off or miss his mistakes.

Soriano will be unlikely as well. Why you ask?
1) There are several teams inquiring about him.
2) That gives the Nationals the upper hand.
3) A few of the teams have more to offer the Nationals
4) I don't think Detroit is willing to give up that much talent for one season.
