Why has Boston then tried to trade Manny? Why has Manny asked out of Boston before? Why hasn't Boston and Manny signed an extension? Why did Boston put Manny on waivers, knowing the New York Yankees could have him for nothing?

Seriously...just about everything you say, you have to relate to the Tigers in some sort of inferior way.

i.e.

"Cleveland had a good season"

"Not as good as Detroit last year"

"Sizemore had a great season"

"Granderson was better"

It's called a strategy man, go look it up. They knew nobody would pay him what they were so he would come back. Also, this was a business deal, it has nothing to do with how well they "gel" together. Manny said after the LCS that Boston was the best place he had ever played.

also if the bosox really wanted a rod they could have him alot more easily than the tigers could......and i really dont see what they would really be missing if they decided to go that route..there is ALOT of pitching there that wont be back next year..pretty expensive at that

Boston and Texas had agreed to trade Manny for A-rod. It was a done deal. The players union nixed the deal.

This had nothing to do with Detroit.
