Tigers going at it with the Tribe tonight. Should be an interesting series. Cleveland is always dangerous offensively. They beat Minnesota 11-0 on Saturday so we'll see what happens in this series.

detroit is sending there 3 best pitchers against cleveland. wouldn't be surprised if detroit gets the sweep. it'll help going into the minnesota series next. i'm not sure if i'm rooting for minnesota or chicago. i would rather face chicago in the playoffs instead of minnesota so i think i'll actually root for chicago

Hard to say. I would like to see the Twins win 2 of them and the Tigers get atleast 2 that way NEITHER team gains much ground.

true, but if minnesota gets in the playoffs i think they'll win it all. santana and liriano in a 7 game series is gonna be tough to beat.

Also true..............HOWEVER a 7 game series with Bonderman and Verlander is also going to be tough to beat. Also, I like the looks of the rest of Tigers staff alot more then I like the rest of the Twins' staff. It takes 3 wins to get past the ALDS and atleast we know the Tigers would NOT play the Twins in the opening round if they did make the playoffs.

god dammit how many times do we have to tell you this. if the tigers win the division they will not play boston, unless boston collapses and backs in and oakland goes on a tear.

I hope the chi sox dont get Soriano. That would really amp there offense even more. I really think they need to concentrate on pitching to be honest. Ok, they're very tough pitchers but NO ONE in the major leagues is automatic. They can be hit, its just that they don't get hit very often is all.

The only thing that scares me about those pitchers is that they're strikeout pitchers and the Tigers strikeout alot.

Also, if the Twins sweep the sox and the Tigers sweep the Tribe then you have Minn and Chicago tied for 2nd with Detroit with a 9-1/2 game lead in the cental. Why would you NOT want that?? I mean the sox just traded for a relief pitcher and are about to lock up Soriano so I see no need to keep the sox any closer in the division race then they are right now.
