**The MLB Thread**

I agree about the run thing, but still if your going on stats, then there is really no comparison from last year to this year, period. I mean you can say it is a better bullpen this year, but that really is just your opinion. I gave you the stats as far as ERA goes not to mention they were considered one of the best bullpens last year. I havent heard no one ranting and raving about there bullpen this year. So if they are so good this year, then why havent I heard about them?

Anyhow, to add onto that, you really never know how good your bullpen is until you see it perform in the playoffs.

If they even make it.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

When the game is close and late....I believe it's classified from the 7th inning on. Top is 2006, bottom stat is 2005.

Ranked #5 in the MLB....# 2 in the AL. BTW...Slammed will like this, best bullpen ERA = Mets @ 3.24

Also there ERA from the 7th inning on, isn't much higher than last year.
All that means is the bullpen is doing better than their starters.

They'll be there, the question is will the Tigers be there as well?
I can say that if the Tigers keep the same intensity they had going into the break they can beat the Sox for the division. Their pitching was better and so was their defense. You can't keep coming back late in games ALL YEAR. Eventually it comes back to get you. Live by the long ball..............DIE by the long ball.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of next week.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I can't wait because its a statement series for the Tigers. Time to shit or get off the toilet.

How is that possible?

There are two guys under 3.00 in era. For them to have that low of an era most of there bullpen guys would be in the low 2.00's or mid to high 2's. That dont even add up.

i think its from the 7th inning on.

Yes, but that is when like 95% of the bullpen is used unless your starters are getting rocked. Most relievers come in the 6th or 7th. So those numbers would be most of the bullpens total stats. I still cant see that being possible with the total era of the bullpen overall.

I would still take last years anyway....

That is there era when the game is close and late. Another words the Era when the team is up or down by 1 or 2 runs, maybe even 3, late in the game which is considered to be 7th inning on iirc. I told you there bullpen is good when it needs to be.
