The H.I.D. Thread

In the last year I have had my Hids on my car, I never once got flashed by other drivers or harrassed by police and I drive a cop car //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. I stay less than 2 blocks from a police precint and see cops almost everyday. Most just be checking out the car period, lol. I had my cousin drive my car while I drove his Expo to make sure and my lights were bright but def not blinding by any means.

BTW, he has aftermarket projectors in his truck and they are DOT approved and his lights blind people all the time. I think because mine are seated correctly is the reason I have not had any problems.

not hard at all, i didnt have to run any wires for mine, everything was dont in the engine bay. my kit is from http://www.higherlevelauto.com great product and very easy to install. if you have never done it before, and follow the instructions prolly 2-3 hours max for the install. it took me 45 minutes for mine. very easy

I run both high and low beams from Mobilehid.com. Cliff the owner is local to me and a good guy. I have 5K in both. Simply amazing. I marked the stock cutoffs on my garage door and then once installed I adjusted them to match as close as possibly. I do not get flashed anymore than I did with my silverstars. Mabey just once a month or so. Turn the high beams on so I have 4 hids blazing and it looks like I just turned the sun on haha.

A true story *LOL* At a local charity car show for the junior diabeties about 5 months ago "however ya spell it" The main generator light station took a crap so I pulled my car around and turned on all I had, it was actually brighter than the tow rig light station and let the show finish hahaha! One funny thing, was a guy turned towrds my car which must have been hell with all 4 blazing, it blinded him and he ran into a stop sign in front of him hahahah. I felt bad but he was not supposed to be driving there anyways. The brights are just pure evil.

Just make sure you adjust them right guys so you do not blind people with your standard driving lights off.
