I define elite as not being a member of the social struggle. To be elite, imo, is to seperate themselves from society...or atleast their perceived problems. Wealth is only one mechanism to do this.

That does not have anything to do with being elite.

I mean that would be one hell of a deal, and I would be happy with that too.

But when I hear elite I think of people behind the scenes.

But good to know, you'll defntly get what you want with your skill in financing and what not.

It has everything to do with it.

I use my skill as an investor to keep me out of the fray. Political and Financial connections grant me access to capital I may not get otherwise. Access to capital can increase returns.

The problem with documentaries like this is the same problem with everything that comes via the media: people will believe whatever they are told. Lately, there is a growing trend that people will believe whatever they are told as long as it comes from outside the mainstream media. Neither approach is good.
I haven't watched this video in a long time but will take some time to do so tonight and pose a rebuttal to points that I disagree with. I remember that some of Mr. Russo's opinions were unsupported by factual evidence or fell into a grey area that was not clearly defined; this is (and has been, for quite sometime) most evident in the American tax laws, where much is left uncovered by the constitution and consists of a patchwork of Supreme Court rulings. Like everything, the truth is usually in the middle.

I quit reading after this post because it is one of the few intelligent posts I have read about these subjects and is exactly how I see it.

Loose change, Freedom to Fasism, zeitgeist and others are just the opposite end of the spectrum as the government. They pose just as many lies and grey area as the government, except we have never heard them before. The truth is usually in the middle. Research the "facts" behind this video and you will see they are not so much "facts," but moreso "vague hypotheses."

Before i post anything or begin i have been a member of this board for YEARS. One thing unique about this forum is how many difirent type of audio enthusiest we have , and how funny we can be(to put it in a nice way). With that said i want to ask of everyone who reads this thread to please put away jokes aside for a monent and really take this message seriously. I am a male hispanic 20 years old from california, i come from an environment were we laugh and education, knowledge and higher thinking. I have been lucky enough to have the right professors, books,(communit college) and personal life experiences that awoken me up to the truth of the world. I have come to see as all humans as one, in particular the young generation, my generation, our generation. Unfortunetly our generation is to caught up in worldly things like kicking it, blazing, partying, riding on 20 inch rims, and watching the latest i love new york/ tilla tequila . Because of this we are going to pay HEAVY consequences in the near future because we have allowed our government to step out of line while we have been distracted with worthless things. I want to present this video which will hopefully open the eyes of not only young americans(us) but all americans. It is a film that focuses on the tax lie that the rich and powerfull bankers imposed on our country in the early 1900 and how since slowly but surelly they have taken controll over our congress, government and country. The tax message is Great and eye opening but the message i want US to get here at the forum is what is showed about half way and after in the video. It is called America: freedom to fascim by aaron russo. If anybody here has already seen this movie great, dont come here and talk shit and ruin the thread, state that you saw it and let the members who have not seen it , see it. If some sort of thread has already been posted about this before then lets talk about how us young americans are going to change all this wrong. In other words no flaming and bad comments, serious intellectual replies only.

The stuff about the tax is a great point, but what i was really trying to focus on was the REAL ID act, that is supposed to take place this may, and how that is going to lead to RFID tagging in these new ID's. That is what i really wanted all of us to discuss, are you going to let the states issue these ID's to you? how do you guys feel about RFID becoming the only way to conduct trade(money, buying , exchanging) ? If we protest the government can simply turn off you chip and youre doomed? This comes out in the last half of the movie and i would consider more important than the rest of the video. This personally scared the SHIT out of me when i saw it and it should not be taken lightly. The other things we should consider are the Patriot Act and the up and cThe Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act which strips us of our rights.
