The Great 15" Challenge

I already know what I need to know...it isn't a "challenge" if you already know what it is that you need to know...what's the fun in fishing if you already know exactly where the fish are? It makes the other fisherman feel better or worse because you already know where the fish are in the lake and you just scoop them up with a net?

That's why I don't fish //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
Fly fishing is amazing.

All these "tests" are the same:

1) They're over complicated

2) They're done in too short of a time frame

3) They lack sufficient controls

4) They lack sufficient data

No self-respecting company should put their necks on the line for such a suspect premise. I applaud Nick for not being goaded by Kornholer into sending any drivers.

Even for SPL testing, the information that will be provided will be insufficient for an individual to apply it to their personal applications.

No company is forced to participate. I am simply giving up about two weeks of my life to run all these tests in six or more boxes. If they want to take advantage of it and see how their sub/s stand up in my controlled environment. That is their option. I know some companies have bones to pick with others, while others are just curious to see how their product compares.

Your right its impossible to have a perfect test, that is why everyone participating understands this and accepts this. The only people who don't seem to understand this are the people who are just here to ***** and moan.

This goes for everyone, I don't mean to be rude but if you don't like the tests or don't agree with them, then run your own or ignore this. I am doing the best I can to run a controlled test. I know tons of people out there would just like to see the results while other are just waiting to bash anything I could possibly do wrong. Honestly I am doing this for my benefit and the companies, take it as you please but if you don't like my experiment please keep it to yourself, its a waste of my time and everyone elses.

Again I am not pressuring any company to participate in these tests, it is a simple come as you please, the results will not be perfect, but then again no result will ever be 100% perfect no matter how you run the test. I advise all companies and viewers to take this information as is and not to look too far into it.

I'm simply posting to make sure that others reading it understand how pointless it is. That way they won't make buying decisions based on it. You can go ahead and do it if you'd like.

I'm not in this for any good concrete info. Obviously the results can never be duplicated, and aren't anything to decide a purchase on. I'm in it for 1 reason. =)
