I know they can go down to 4 ohms and 1 ohms but I hooked my cvr's to 1 ohms before and everytime I used it for a while it smelled like something was burning, so I returned it and got new subs (they were under warranty) and hooked them up to 2 ohms (I think), but after that I never smelled anything burning or anything like that. So I was just wondering is there a way to make two dual 4 ohm subs go down to 2 ohms? Or is it just because I did something different this time and some how wired them up the same way there is not a burning smell. Or mabye the subs were just bad.
