please look at the calender. You will notice that there are 4 squares surrounding a circle of a god. Each square represents a different cycle and the square of the god is the last of the great cycle. We are in the square, or the last of the great cycle. As soon as 2012 arrives,the calendar will reset itself and we will start over ( meaning we will be in the 1st square on the calendar). We do not know what square is the first cycle of the calendar, but it is one of the four on there. Neither do we understand exactly what will happen in each square. After looking at this picture, are you still convinced that is is all a theory?

Well, it has been proven that there have been visible sunspots on the suns surface over the past several years. This is said to prove that the sun is going to pull itself towards the earth from gravitational pull and cause massive earthquakes and storms and many say if it doesn't end the world it will kill alot of people leaving only the prepared left to survive.

But sunspots aren't a "unique" phenomenon. It's cyclical. Sunspots are almost always occurring (except possibly during solar minimum), the number of which varies.

To all of you close minded ones, how do you look at this picture and not see the significance of it? This calendar was real, it is made up of real data from there time. This was there scientific way of predicting what happened in the past and would happen in the future. They were great at predicting things and have proven that they knew what they were doing, so why do the closed minded ones not see the significance of the 4 squares and cirlcle god in the middle?

basically the mayans had an end date for the world on 2012 due to the sunspot cycle theory, and we are in a sunspot cycle now believe it or not and what makes you believe it couldn't happen again? Scientists say it happened many times before so to me the possibility is very real.
