Sold The first ever DD 9910!!!

Back in 01 and 02, DD didn't make 9910s, only 9917 and a few 9915s

Well, back then Steve Cook was messing around with multiple 10s, and he ran 10 9510s but kept folding cones

He decided to get custom full carbon fiber dustcaps made to help strengthen the cone...I have one of these here...Dual 1 ohm

Its a little old and scuffed up, but still performs like a brand new woofer.

I used 1 of these on a 20.1 in my old 2002 grand am for just basic transportation with good gas mileage.

Sounded INCREDIBLE

I also have a nice carbon fiber faced enclosure for it, tuned around 30 hz...with the 1 10 and the 20.1 I was able to do 144.2 at the dash at 40 hz.

not bad at all out of a trunk, with a single 10 at a low frequency

its hard to explain really

The old DD 9500 motors wouldn't work on a 10'' woofer

So they are 9000 motors, with 9900 coils, 9500 cones, 9900 spiders, and custom machined full dustcap to strengthen the cone even more

It's about as 9910 as it could get back then.

They didn't have 10" kevlar cones.

back then they didn't have 12'' kevlar cones either

it was 9915s and 9917s only

I remember getting HUGE shipments of these parts in to cooks shop

I've probobly glued together 200 of these things in the past few years

they would come in with seperate parts, not drop in recones because these were totally one off woofers at the time

all joints have been double glued and has rope holding the cone to the former, i gurantee these things WILL NOT fall apart. I used my 20.1 at almost full tilt and these woofers never stressed

Tell ya what if someone buys in the next 2 hours, 250 shipped for woofer and box, its been in my camper for the past few months, getting the camper ready to go out and need it out of the way!

The enclosure is PERFECT for this sub, I spent a few weeks tuning it to make it perfect

I dunno what else I would do with it
