Back in 01 and 02, DD didn't make 9910s, only 9917 and a few 9915s

Well, back then Steve Cook was messing around with multiple 10s, and he ran 10 9510s but kept folding cones

He decided to get custom full carbon fiber dustcaps made to help strengthen the cone...I have one of these here...Dual 1 ohm

Its a little old and scuffed up, but still performs like a brand new woofer.

I used 1 of these on a 20.1 in my old 2002 grand am for just basic transportation with good gas mileage.

Sounded INCREDIBLE

I also have a nice carbon fiber faced enclosure for it, tuned around 30 hz...with the 1 10 and the 20.1 I was able to do 144.2 at the dash at 40 hz.

not bad at all out of a trunk, with a single 10 at a low frequency

asking

225 shipped obo for the woofer

and 125 shipped for the enclosure

Do both woofer and enclosure for 300 shipped

With 600 watts?
its alot more then 600 watts

just because an amp says 600 watts at 2 ohms...doesn't mean thats what it does

impedence rise from 1 ohm depending on the enclosure probobly has most woofers WAY over 4/5 ohm anyway.

Again depending on the enclosure and the frequencies he plays

A kx 1200.1 at 2 ohm is probobly closer to 800-1000 watts

Ok sooooo......he wiring it to 2ohm correct?

Now after rise hed prolly be around 4ohm....sooo less than 600watts

Amps don't work like that man

Everytime you double impedence it doesn't half output...and everytime you half impedence it doesn't double output

Thats just a standard rating figure

It just doesn't work like that...like for example in my old smax 3-4 truck, (2 2150s for batteries, and 8 20.1s)

With my first BTLs i got I was at 1 ohm nominal.

From there I was getting

114 volts and 34 amps, which put me at 3.35 ohms impedence rise, and almost 4000 watts out of a pair of amps at 3 ohms, at less then 10 volts.

Just because it says it on paper, don't believe it until you test it man

Soooooo......why are u telling me?

I was just going by what he told me the rating was

Even a clamp and dmm isnt exact...just a round about way

So your saying ur IA20.1 did 2000watts a piece at 3ohm and less than 10v.....no way

Show test and tape it

You must have 40.1s....or the most underrated 20.1s EVER PRODUCED!!!!
