What should I be looking for in a AMP to match this system? Any suggestions?

There's not a lot of different things you can be looking for.

These would provide adequate power.

What did you look up to match my system? How did you come to choose that AMP? Honestly I'm hoping I can find a different one to match my needs but at a cheaper price then the one you suggested

under 200 for starters i suppose. i'd really like the $150 - $175 range if possible.

you need 2 amps dude 1 for the subs and 1 for the mids. if you hadnt wasted so much money on JL brand you coulda done the whole setup with better stuff for alot cheaper, but.... i can do you a good sub amp for 220 the 1210d brutus it will give you 900 rms to the pair. for the mids you can do a small 2 channel like the titan 4008 2x 100 rms for 110

i looked at a few but none have the power for the subs unfortunately and he only has 2 speakers so if he had 2 ohm subs he could do a big 4 channel.

mmmm... had a bad feeling about those mid speakers...

if i we're to return them, what would be ideal? i'm not looking to spend too much..def not looking to buy two amps (same goes for the 5 channel), i'm already paranoid about all my trunk audio being stolen just from what i've heard from my friends and i don't even have my stuff in yet..
