The End of the World as we know it?

I'm not paying my income taxes ever and if I ever have to sit in front of a courtroom full of people with a jury, I will stand up and state to everyone "please, someone show me in our laws for this country that I have to pay a federal income tax to a private company that has nothing to do with a government other than the fact they loan them money". IRS can **** my dick.
the IRS isn't a private company...it is a unit of the Department of the Treasury.

If I want to get a decent picture of what's going on here, I'll listen to a foreign news broadcast. This whole "left vs. right" mentality is utterly disgusting, if anyone had a sense of history they'd realize how backwards it really is to divide yourself down those lines. Fox News to me is a joke, along with MSNBC...I think both of those have pretty much settled as being pure entertainment, rather than anything of journalistic value...CNN, at some level, tries to be the news network it once was, but it's hopelessly ****ed in the same mire as the others.
For example, after the Bhutto assassination last week I caught a minute or two of CNN - they had Hillary Clinton on sharing her thoughts about it. Why the hell do I care about what she thinks? Is this supposed to help placate me and make a decision (assuming I could vote in a primary anyway, as an independent I basically get told to **** off in every state except NH)? I'd rather hear about what's actually happening over there...by non-Americans...which is why I'd rather listen to foreign shortwave broadcasts from countries that may like us, or may not like us.

Sure, there's bias anywhere you get the news, but if I listen to Radio Netherlands' excellent English European news program, the BBC World Service, and maybe an English program from Radio Pakistan or elsewhere, somewhere in the middle of those agendas is a lot more info than you're going to find Bill O'Reilly spewing out.

You have some valid points, however you have media other countries that are influnced by outside agendas also. I live in the Cayman Islands for a while and you would think it is a free country, NOT. The government has power over the media. The media can not report on certain issues with out major retalliation, and that is in a western society. Anywhere you get it you have to decipher what is BS, and make up your own mind. I think it highly unlikely that millions of people are going to get SW radios and start to listen to offshore broadcasts. Hell we can't get them to turn on the TV and change channels.

My point is not to believe just one source, they all have agendas, get educated and seek additional info, don't be mindless sheep.

and also the guy who became friends with a rockefeller dude and was told months ahead of 9/11 by the rockefeller dude that they had somthing planned that was gonna kill alot of people and take us to war with afganistan, etc.

On what charges? If there is no law than how can I break it?

Not to mention it is unconstitutional and would go up for judicial review by the supreme court and there is no way they could turn it down because of bad publicity and then people would actually know what was going on. Can you say no taxes for the rest of your life and an out of court settlement after signing a few papers stating you'd keep your mouth shut? I see that happening.

not neccessarily. they could have just cut the main support collums to weaken the structure. therefore teh planes crash the floors start to fall taking the weakened structure down with it. also refer to the part in the video i linked to where it shows the way professionals cut the support beams and how ironicaly the support beams on the wtc are cut exactly the same and even have melted steel streaming off of it.
i could come up with a theory about how they took down the building using dry ice. IT COULD NOT HAVE BEEN DONE WITHOUT PEOPLE KNOWING IT. the accepted story just makes more sense. if someone comes up with something different that makes as much sense as the original story, i'll concede. you cannot load a building up with hundreds of pounds of explosive, wire it all together, and implement an intricate plan that would have involved hundreds of participants and not get definitively found out. impossible.

I was thinking of the Fed. reserve. My fault. But still. Show me the law.
well, the federal government set up the Dept. of Treasury, and then the IRS followed, and based on the constitution:

The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes, duties, imposts, and excises, to pay the debts and provide for the common defense.

just a blurb from Section 8.

the government has the right to collect taxes, and they have the right to create taxes. All within certain checks and balances of course.

You lose.

Well it kinda falls in the same catagory of how the judicial branch is allowed to make laws from the court room. It is absolutely not in there power as stated in the const. but we have morphed and allowed them to do so for so long that you will have a hell of a time to change it. The sysetm will not easly give back power that has been granted, it however will gladly take more.

they have the power to interpret the laws. They cannot create laws.

The only reason why you think they "create laws" is because there interpretations must be followed.

i dont get why if canada, u.s. and mexico have became one why are we trying to keep them from crossing our borders?
we haven't become 1. it's possible that they are trying. we aren't stopping anything at our borders //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

You are correct , but the government has taken on its own life, it was supposed to do those things that the private sector or the states couldn't, that is what the taxes were for, it has grown into doing things that the states and the private sector want and should be doing. example: the Federal government giving entitlements was not what I believe the founding fathers intended the taxes levied were to be used for.

the great american think-tanks can only come up with a big fence.

That's sad.
