the effects of too big of a sealed box?

I have 3 126v2s in a sealed fiberglass box, I havent measured the exact cubes of the box, but I am pretty sure its larger than the 3.75 recommended size for sealed. Would there be any problems with the woofers?

I planned on giving them about 600wrms, they are rated at 400wrms. Would the extra airspace effect the power handling?

X a bizillion....

I would start off feeding eash 100rms and work your way up until they are where they should be. Over powering them will cause them to fail mechanically by bottoming out and or over excursion.

ok, thanks for the heads up.

they are supposed to have 1.25 cubes sealed, if they are at 1.5 net each, how much of a difference would it make powerhandling wise.

Probly not much at all with that little of a change, but to be on the safe side set the gain low and work your way up to where you want it. My sub is in a 1.7cu.ft. box, recomended is 1-1.5....I could set my gain to the rms of the sub, but it really doesnt need it to get where I want it.
