Annunciate is the act of announcing, which is a public form of speaking. Not enough of a difference to say I misused it

So I don't know about you guys but every time i hear the advertisement for Liberty home health care Wilford Brimley's mispronunciation of the word "diabetes" as "Diabeetus" it aggravates me.
Does that guy annoy you?

Anyways, he finally said it right. I was so surprised, its like somebody told he needed to work on his annunciation and the last 2 times on the most recent commercial he actually said it right. It was a visible struggle for him to say it correctly lol.
