I would just be cautious...Perhaps you got lucky and got a fall off the back of the truck special on those, especially since they started at $1. Like it was said, they are a set of 3,500 (without crossblock) set of speakers. In fact, I own a pair of them. Unfortunately, they are not currently in a vehicle, but I wouldn't let go over them for under about 1,500 or so. If they sold them that cheap either they are knockoffs or the person didn't know what they managed to get. It wouldn't be the first time. I've purchased some Focal home cabinets for about 1/3 the normal price and they came with full documentation and serial numbers (they looked to be fall off the back of the truck specials) If you enjoy them, that is all that matters (to some aspects) I would try and put something at least as heavy as the Focal 4x75 for just that set of speakers. That is how I had mine hooked up, front channel for the tweets and the rear channel for the mids (didn't have the 4" components in mine just the tweets and 7" driver)
Additionally, after seeing all of the pics on the post they look to be the old set of Utopias (which I also had) except without the TLR speakers (which they had with them before) The TN51 tweeters are a few models back, but don't think these are bad speakers. Mine still sounded fantastic and were only replaced by the Utopia Be set. That is another indication they are different is the lack of Be after Utopia on the speaker. Once again the older Utopia's still sound fantastic.
