have you tried 4 roses? i think you can only get it in kentucky at the moment.

haven't seen it in my normal dives, but i'll have to look around for it...what have you heard about it? at my normal hangout, i can get a double of Maker's and a coke for $5...only that double is about 4 shots. $25 and i'm ready for bed, lol

well they make a few different bourbons, but the single barrel 100 is what I'm referring to. not too many bars have it on the shelf here in lexington...actually I don't think I've even seen it in a bar here. the only place i go to get it is Liquor Barn.

If you see it somewhere, give it a shot. Its very very good considering the somewhat moderate pricing.

Meh. I drink Ten High and Coke on occasion.... Not really a bourbon whiskey fan.

I imagine it tastes good if you have the touch for it. Do you drink bourbon to sip on, or to get drunk? I couldnt see getting drunk off of it.

I like to sip on it. I think its kinda pointless to spend $$$$ on good stuff if all youre going to do is shoot it and waste it.

That being said, I dont drink it straight all of the time...just when I'm trying a new bottle of something and I want to get a feel for it. I usually drink it with coke on ice. About 3 parts bourbon to 1 part coca cola does the trick.

Turkey is garbage IMO. any of the moderate to high price bourbons have a taste that i consider "good" but it is like anything else...some people just will never like it. myself, i can't drink wine at all, for example. as far as sipping or getting drunk, its absolutely superb for either //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif, but a whiskey drunk and the resulting hangover will stay with ya for a while. i can't shoot whiskey at all though, just hurts to **** bad, plus you don't get to taste it

Ive always been partial to Jim Beam. Jim Beam Black is durn good too. IMO

Was a time in my past that if you came over to my apartment and I didn't have a 1/2 gallon of beam at the ready, something was seriously wrong.
