90 amp alt? What amps are you running? That's not even like... 1.5K RMS.Omg...are you Kove's little brother...please say yes! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif![]()

I get 14.35 volts playing test tones with volume near full tilt. Car is at idle. Stock 90amp alt. with regular lead acid battery, not the one that came with my car.

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/word.gif.64b12e39f936af3b4fff38a1c0bd0244.gifThe grounds are WAY more important than the alternator cable to the battery +, as long as you are sticking with the stock alternator. There is always the path of least resistance argument, BUT, the wire that came with the vehicle is already rated to deliver the maximum amperage that the stock alternator will provide! If you are upgrading to a high output alternator, disregard this advice and do ALL THREE wires!
