Ok. I was thinkin in terms of batteries a TurboStart or Optima blue deep cycle? Any other suggestions? As for as speaker wire do people really use like 8ga. and 0 ga. ? If so, should I for the kicker 15's?

I don't have any experience with the TurboStart, but the Optima Yellow or Bluetop will be fine.
Yes, some people do use 8ga for speaker wire, but you defintely dont need that. It would be overkill.

Obviously I don't know how much power you are running, but I would say 12ga speaker wire would probably be okay.

Not damage it, but it will shorten its life span due to it spinning faster.

More rpm=more wear.

The electrical components will wear out depending on the load from the electrical components, the amount of current demand will dictate wheather the alt is working harder then it was made too, regardless of RPM.

As for port.

Not a direct answer but a general rule of thumb.

For the highest port efficiency the port must offer the minimum amount of air resistance possible, mounting the port on the same side as the woofer face will also add to efficiency.

lot of people have done different things though with great results, soo Idunno.
